About Our Founder

Venae` A. Gordon, LMSW, C-SSW

I am a Licensed Master Social Worker; currently under the clinical supervision of Shalonda Carlisle, LCSW, M.S. Edu. I earned my B.S. degree in Psychology from Bethune-Cookman University and M.S.S.W degree from Clark Atlanta University.

 

I have 10 years of experience providing grassroots social services in mental health, infectious disease, and substance abuse to communities in both Atlanta, GA and Jackson, MS. I have 6 years of experience as a Mental Health and Medical Social Worker; providing care in areas of acute/critical surgical and trauma care, and infectious disease.

I have worked with both adults and adolescents; specializing in mental health and HIV education, crisis stabilization, and behavioral modification.

​

I currently provide social interventions for individuals living with HIV/AIDs as well as provide community education. I also currently serve as the 2020 Ambassador for the CDC "Let's Stop HIV Together" Campgain.
